Really?!
Apparently the new look for the upcoming months (spring and summer) will herald loud and vibrant colours. This trend will take us right up to Christmas and winter. Really...what amazing and wonderful news that is to behold. I have wondered on a few thoughtful occasions who is in charge of deciding these such things and what kind of person actually gets the memo and runs out and buys what we are told will be in vogue.
Doesn't spring and summer usually request that one wears brighter and more summery colours? To me, it is quite ridiculous when things that have been in fashion before, like say, denim for example has a somewhat 'revival' and we are instructed that this clothing staple is 'back in fashion'. Wow, imagine that! Mackintosh's are also making a come back, (according to GQ). What's next? shoes? trousers? In my opinion the public are being royally conned by the fashion houses.
