To snooze or not to snooze, that is the question...

The alarm bell starts cackling in your face and you wish it hadn't. You yearn for more morsels of sleep, just a little bit more precious, comfortable lovely and warm moments in your slumber. The alarm is slapped on to snooze.

Yes, you feel that you need those menial crumbs of  snooze that your digital alarm offers to you. But as most of us will be aware of - snooze seems to fly by ever so quickly. Your alarm will once again laugh in your crumpled face before you know it. What is exactly the point of five measly minutes of snooze. You can't exactly enjoy it, you are already awake but the masses cling onto this concept as though it were a most treasured conflict diamond.

Now, you are faced with that horrible dilemma, hit the snooze again or get up? Do you want to risk the chance of potentially being late for work. But you're oh so tired and would rather stay in bed than get up. Right now bed is the most inviting place in the entire world and work isn't. Especially, if it's a Monday morning. The first day of a week which it's safe to say that many people look upon with abject disdain.

Sigh...

Drag yourself up and tackle the beast.

Say a curt hello, and begrudgedly embrace Monday morning.
