The Old Merchant's House

In the old Merchant’s house there's an old lady downstairs who has 17 cats and old wooden chairs.
In the old Merchant’s house there's a Rasta upstairs
Who lights up his chalice and behaves with some malice,
he cranks up his reggae which rattles the glass and vibrates through the floorboards unnerving the cats.
In the old Merchant’s house
on the floor in-between
there's a chap who's so tranquil so calm and serene,
he never gets phased or even upset
and if you did cross him he’d forgive and forget.
In the old Merchant’s house
From the chairs to the chalice,
as incidents go there is quite a balance
The old lady gets angry the Rasta don't care,
but to solve any trouble Mr peaceful is there...
