Memory Lane...

Oh man! Memories! What a silly film when you think about it. Basically, it starts with a wacky scientist/ inventor man who is obsessed with devising a machine that shrinks things. He tries, and tries - but  to no avail. Until the stupid machine decides to work when he is not around. And it foolishly zaps his children and his two slightly trashy next door neighbours kids, crikey! Anyway, the adventure and high jinks starts. As a kid I enjoyed what ensued. If you are aware of this film - you will remember the iconic scenes - such as the "giant" ant, although it's not really giant, (but because the kids have been shrunk it's big to them). The huge biccie, (looked like a custard cream to me) that they eat - plus the climatic scene - when the little blighter's find their way into the bowl of cereal and nearly get eaten by the scientist/oddball! Yikes!

Always have have time for this quirky little film. They certainly don't make them like this anymore.
