It's all about James Patterson

Alex Cross is back on my reading list. Courtesy of Roses are Red author, James Patterson. Another instalment in the thrilling crime collection surrounding the super detective. World re known author, Patterson, continues his remarkably talented way of sharp paced, flowing story telling. As-per-usual with his books the action is prevalent and continuous, something that Patterson skilfully combines with the softer human relations that come in regards to the home life of Alex Cross. As a detective and psychologist, Cross juggles his fraught job in conjunction with being a single father. This, for me, makes for an interesting read and gives a different spin to the trials that this particular detective faces due to the dangerous nature of his job and the family he dearly loves.
