Jay Z releases "Open Letter" addressing the Cuba hoopla
Following Jay and Bey's recent trip to Cuba, Jay released this impromptu track clearly fuelled by all the negative publicity surrounding it. You see, American citizens are actually prohibited from visiting Cuba. They can't actually holiday there. It's all based on political nonsense about America not contributing to Cuba's tourism industry, which in turn funds an oppressive regime that has no issues with crimes against humanity. (Surely, Cuba is not the only place on the planet with such regimes? Why has going on holiday got to be so political?).
Unless granted special clearance, rumors state that cheeky American holiday makers could even face jail time. It's no secret Jay has Obama on speed dial, so everyone's speculating whether Obama signed this illegal holiday off...
I wonder if Obama changed his number after hearing Jay drop the following line "Obama said chill, you gonna get me impeached! We don't need this 'ish anyway chill with me on the beach."
Interesting...
Anyway, this track is nice and the beat is well cooked.
