Shocked

Beauty slapped me around the face. 

I wasn't expecting it - so it caught me off guard. 

In shock it took me aback. 

I actually didn't know how to react, what to do. 

My head was spinning.

The slap rendered me into a confused state.

Like - what do you do when beauty sneaks up and slaps you hard?

Look on in shock? Laugh? Cry?

Beauty tip-toed up on me and slapped me around the face. 

I puffed out my cheeks and let out a confused sigh...

If I had been aware I suppose I could prepared myself. 

But I didn't.

Beauty creeped up on me and slapped me around the face.
