Monte Carlo nights (Seven)
A small Louis Vuitton case stood by the door as she restlessly paced up and down the hall. Where was he? Anxiety levels rising up within her. She glanced at her diamond encrusted watch. The time was a minute past the last time she had looked. Her aching heart throbbed as she contemplated what she was about to do. Seven years of marriage and it had come down to this. Standing alone in the quiet shadows of a hallway, anxious to leave Monte Carlo. Leaving her beautiful apartment and possessions behind. Undiluted feelings of trepidation bubbled through her lithe body. Where was he? Magnificent emerald eyes looking down to check the time again.
Suddenly a sharp piercing light shot against the crystallised door bouncing off the windows startling her. There was a car motoring up the hill, eventually stopping on the gravelled drive way. He was here. Her heart began to race as she picked up the case and swiftly opened the door.
The cars lights were on full beam, dazzling and bright. Long, slender legs strode towards the navy Bugatti. Tiny gravel crunched beneath her heels as she walked. A blowy wind carrying her wavy, ruddy mane like a goddess. Reaching across he opened the passenger door. She passed him the case before getting in. The car instantly filled with her unmistakable scent.
They looked at one another for a moment before he smiled. Her bewitched beauty really was something to behold. She was a vision.
He lent over and tenderly kissed her smooth, warm cheek. Unflinching she stared blankly into space.
"Let's go." He said softly as he began to turn the powerful car around. He had waited for this moment for a long time. And now it was all going according to plan.
