The leather companion
Can this simplistic picture constitute as a piece of modern art? Perhaps not, however, this trusty leather holdall has more than played its part.
For a start, it helped me get from A to B. With frequency it was carried by me, over the summer weeks and months it would hold my carefully selected clothes and shoes - I was a man on the continuous move.
Train rides were often and so were flights. Early morning starts and crazy airport darts. The destinations were different and somewhat varied - but one thing always stayed the same.
So, the picture of this vintage travel bag might not exactly look like a piece of wonderful modern art - but you know what; it sure played its part.
