A cidade á noite
In the nocturnal city they dance until the break of dawn.
In the city that doesn't sleep the clubs empty and spill into the street.
They feel the samba they feel the funk they love to dance so for this reason they prefer not to get drunk.
Oh how they live to salsa and rumba...
In the nocturnal city people sit about on doorsteps taking in the warm night.
They sip on cold beers and eat snacks.
Old men discuss sports and argue and banter.
Some get a little rowdy and it results in a fight.
Lots of little things go on until the break of dawn. Only a small yawn or two will denote that hour is late as the people mill and congregate.
For a city that doesn't sleep you will always find the locals out spending time in the street.
