Riding through history

I took a photo of this art installation at Farringdon Station. On further investigation I found out the London Underground turned 150 years old on the 9th of January this year.

The first journey that ever took place was between Paddington Station to Farringdon Station on the Metropolitan Line...

The random things you learn, if you just stop for a minute during a busy day to study your surroundings.
