This piece of music sounds like it's telling a story.
Cinema for your ears.
Cinema for your ears.
Something's going down in the middle east somewhere... some guy is on the run, the pressures on to escape his destiny that awaits him... simultaneously there's a woman shrouded in mystery in a wealthy palace giving orders to her head of security... It's a full moon, and there is a mass of silent shadows operating under the cover of the dark night.
The guy slips into an alley way just in time, his back firmly pressed against the wall as he watches a group of men run past. He steps back out the shadows and instantly feels eyes looking upon him... he gazes up to see a lonely boy, aged 4 looking down at him, his face void of expression but his eyes fixated on him...
You can hear a pin drop...
Anyway, that's kind of what of I imagine when I hear this. I love how a simple piece of music can evoke such emotion and ignite such imagination.
