Wintery Escapades

Chilly breeze.
                   Achy knees.
Achoo!

           Silly sneeze.

Icy wind blowing through the rustic leaves.

             Hat on, hat on, hat on.

Warm scarf.

          Cough, cough.

Shivering hands.

             Dreams of sun kissed sands.

Dreary, gloomy days.

         Indoors appeals much more.

Fire place displays a constant warm blaze.

       Out of gas, disgruntled trip to the store.

Treacherous ice on the street.

       Slip, slip...

Crash to the floor.

       Bashful face.

Phew...nobody saw.

       Grumble, grumble.

Fingers too cold to text on your phone.

      Need to tread carefully in case I stumble.

Should have worn a glove or two.

     Achoo!

Reused hanky.

     Oh man, this is manky.

Back home...

    Door slammed tight.

Achoo!

     I'm staying in for the rest of the night!
