Tales from the coffee shop - The Smile

He smiled, she returned the smile; then looked away.

His gaze lingered...

Hers returned to find that he was still admiring her attractively freckled face.

She looked a little bashful.

She nervously ran her fingers through her glossy chestnut hair.

The coffee shop was relatively noisy, with individuals talking to one another. Music played nicely in the background.

He took a tasty sip of his warm nourishing latte.

Then was drawn again to her magnetic direction, and smiled again.

She laughed, He felt good - as though the proverbial ice was thawing.

Her deep green eyes surveyed him with more than a hint of amusement.

His fleeting confidence flipped like a coin - the new face was now self consciousness.

Why was the beauty laughing...

She pointed at his mouth region.

Then it dawned upon himself...

He had a blob of cream on his top lip.

Resting for a moment, it appeared comfortable sat on the gentleman's face.

Anxiously - He quickly located a napkin - wiping away the embarrassing cream that had made the pretty girl laugh at him.

He slowly looked again at her with a dash of shame.

She chuckled to herself, before her attentions quickly transferred to greet a muscular beefcake of a man approaching.

He said hello, then kissed her cherry lips.

Boyfriend...
