Joey Bada$$ is a Brooklyn native that's taking hip hop back to its essence. He defiantly has the flow and bars to set himself out from all the new skool - old skool rappers. I'm not saying he is in the same vain of legends of yesteryear, but, remember - when you first heard an early Nas or Jay Z... this is the kind of impression I get when I hear this young upstart. His mixtape album entiltled "1999" is a mix of hood tales and witty world play, dare I say this could be a future classic! who knows, but I'll let you decide that for yourselves.
