Cats should be equal to dogs
A Japanese bloke who wanders around city centres with a pram full of cats has claimed that he's doing it so people treat them as equal to dogs. Mr. Masahiko Suga, 53 has made a right name for himself carting his nine cats around in a buggy in Kitakyusho southern Japan. The oriental chap does this to encourage cat owners to take their pets out for walks in the same way as they would dogs. (Take your time to digest this) "I want more people to feel attached to cats and learn how to interact with them." He enthused.
This single man also says taking cats out has its benefits, as it stops his cats from ruining his home by scratching his sofas and jumping up and tearing down his curtains. Fair enough. Mr. Suga's ultimate dream is not for peace and security for all, but that cats eventually hold the same legal rights as dogs and are no longer seen as the lesser animal. Regardless of this slightly unusual way of thinking and behaving Mr. Suga has become somewhat of a minor celebrity in his home town, as one would imagine.
You wouldn't be wrong in assuming that the Japanese locals feel obliged in taking a multitude of photographs (followed by appreciative broad smiles) as he pushes his pram around laden with pussy cats. Also, in addition to this our unusual friend has taken his well cared for posse on the road to Tokyo in his camper van, (sounds like fun) where apparently it's famous for its many cat Cafes. So there you go. If you ever wanted to read a heart warming case of animal equality, then this is it.

A poll conducted somewhere in 2009 stated that dogs were still the more popular pet compared to cats.
