Summer's here, who wouldn't want to check out the Partynextdoor?

Drakes latest endorsement comes in the form of the mysterious Partynextdoor.  It seems Drake has his finger on the pulse, and has signed the 19 year old to his label OVO.  He definitely fits seamlessly into that Dizzy/The Weeknd soundscape.

I wouldn't for one second compare Partynextdoor to The Weeknd, but after listening to this project, the influence is obvious.

It's a savvy signing by Drake as he continues to push that instantly recognisable sound and vibe that him and his mastermind producer, Noah '40' Shebib have been forging together.

Perhaps this genre should be called, "Emotional swagger". I'm playing... I for one love this particular sound apparently coming out of Canada right now.

Partynextdoor just dropped his self-titled, ten track project which only has one feature, Drake.

Solid production and bags of potential, and now aligned with peers that embody this sound... the future looks bright for all involved.
