Welcome to a few of my favourite chairs. I love the affect good design has on my life, and the pleasure it brings.

Here are three chairs I have personally admired since my early teens.  One of which I have already had the pleasure of growing up with and then eventually owning. The other two, I hope to purchase within the next year.

The Barcelona.

Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.

Released in 1929.













The Eames Lounge and Ottoman.

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames.

Released in 1956.





















The Chesterfield.

The true author of this 'Chesterfield' design is up for debate. It has victorian roots and was possibly conceived around the 17th - 18th century.
