Africa Oye 2013

Has it already been a whole year since Liverpool last hosted Africa Oyé... How time flies. From what I have heard this year promises to be bigger and better than the previous years washout. (it rained terribly last year - so the event was shifted indoors). Anyway, this event is always a crowd pleaser perhaps due to the fact that the annual bonanza celebrates all things African (and Caribbean it seems). Oyé is celebrating 21 years since its inception so with that the organisers will probably have some things up their sleeves.

Oyé brings a lovely diverse mixture of people as they all flock from around the city for a weekend in a vast park to soak up free live music plus taking in the various colourful stalls and food that always make Africa Oye something worth attending for the cultured and like minded folk of Liverpool.
