Music and art. The two are often synonymous with one another. How many people actually buy Cd's anymore? For me, it is one of those things that music lovers and collectors alike loved. Vinyls, cassettes and Cd's, all would be purchased and then later poured over and enjoyed. A great album would come along with eye catching cover art which would look really nice within a collection. This was all part of the pleasure of obtaining music as an actually hard copy.
Currently, I am listening to Icelandic songstress, Soley. And although the album was downloaded, looking and admiring the cover art it lead me to thinking about how art and creativity plays a nice little role in the often colourful aesthetics of music.
