Beyonce's lil sister drops EP

Solange Knowles drops her eagerly anticipated E.P entitled "True".
Ever since the release of 'T.O.N.Y" a couple of years back, I could tell she had turned a corner musically from her initial record company friendly younger years in the industry.

After releasing "Losing You', a stand out nostalgic track that had a jaw dropping video to accompany it, Solange has definately arrived.

Thankfully, Solange has stuck to the formula used on 'losing you'.  The E.P comprising of 7 tracks has a refreshingly cohesive production throughout.  The E.P is extra smooth, dipped in 80's tinged production, combined with an almost Michael Jackson-esque type of swagger.

A formula musically and stylistically which has hit the jackpot in my opinion.  She is no longer trying to fill the big glitter spangled high heels of her sister...

She's rocking her own polished brogues.
