Review

It's finally here... Frank Ocean releases a full album. I literally raced home to hear it.

He's still up to his signature mysterious interludes... And annoyingly short tracks.

He seems wasteful at times to me, especially with the one of the smoothest tracks I've heard in a while entitled "White" with John Mayer on the guitar, just to find out its nothing more than an instrumental interlude.

But, hey it's Frank. Somehow he kinda gets away with it... His ridiculously talented vocals mixed with his quirky lyrics - he just keeps you mesmerised and forever guessing.

So far the stand out tracks are: Pilot Jones, Crack Rock, Lost, Forrest Gump, and of course thinking about you.

Bad Religion and Pink Matter get you thinking are real nice and more complete as pieces of music...

Just wait for the drop on Pink Matter! Andre 3000 tears it up and skips over the guitars like only he could. A superb collaboration. Would love to see them create more music together.

Mr Ocean seems to have the music industry at his feet... Remembering that he was enlisted by Jay Z and Kanye for the epic "Watch the Throne", without seemingly trying.

He is in control of his potential...

I give you Frank Ocean - Channel Orange
